25 ans - Bons Bois - Cognac Grosperrin
Old gold robe. Luscious nose, sweet, candied fruits, almost roasted. Saline touch, which makes it pleasant, and makes you want to dive into the glass. On the palate, the attack is soft, thick, with warm and gourmet notes. The tannins are discreet, but perfectly integrated. This cognac is already mature, on top of its game.

This cognac comes from a winemaker on the border of the Dordogne region. His grandfather had started this activity in 1901, continued by his father, then by himself. Unfortunately, this elderly winegrower had to stop his activities in 2003, without having found a buyer for the estate. This terroir of Les Bons Bois, a cru wrongly discredited, is no less remarkable thanks to a combination of factors, such as altitude (110 meters), typical soils (raw sands, deep clays), and practices often artisanal because of the smaller vineyard areas than in the other crus. A batch of 305 liters which was bottled by Grosperrin in their own cellars.
