Le Roch X.O - Borderies - Cognac Grosperrin
Amber color. The nose is elegant, with fragrant notes of iris, exotic woods, candied violet, which show that the cognacs used in this blend come from the clay-siliceous soils of the Borderies plateau. The palate is frank, mineral, with luscious and spicy aromas, candied fruits on the finish. The first rancio are expressed with delicacy.

A blend of some of the best Cognacs from the Grosperrin Maison, exclusively from the Cru Borderies, which is the smallest of the Cognac terroirs, barely 5% of the vineyard... Old cognacs are much rarer there than in the other Crus. Blend of the three main terroirs of the Cru. X.O stands for Extra Old, so the youngest eau-de-vie in this blend has been aged for at least 10 years in oak barrels.
