A nose with notes of tropical fruit, pear, mango, white pepper, and a hint of minerals... A remarkable palate, unique, with subtle fruit flavours, very fine tannins and lovely acidity.

100% Viognier, from 80-year-old vines cultivated using biodynamic methods and planted on the terroir of Conca de Barbera, at high altitude, close to the sea, in the Tarragona region. The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and a light skin maceration for one week – not yet enough to make this an orange wine. Matured in French oak barrels that have seen several wines for a period of six months. Neither fined nor filtered, and zero added sulphur.

Joan Franquet
Joan Franquet is originally from Priorat, very close to Barcelona. Being an olive oil producer from generation to generation, he started working with his father at a very young age on the family farm. But more than the olives, it is the vine and the wine that fascinates Joan. On each of his trips, all over the globe, he loves to visit wine estates and cellars... In 2009, he took a closer...
