100% Riesling made from vines over 100 years old, mostly planted on small terraces on the terroir called Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, with light, stony soils and the presence of slate, covering about 20 ha, of which Molitor is the largest owner. Harvesting is done late and by hand, with meticulous sorting of the grapes, and yields of about 10 hl/ha. Vinification: the grapes are macerated a few hours, with indigenous yeasts, followed by a long maturation in stainless steel vats on the fine lees. The bottle’s gold capsule indicates that this is a sweet wine.
