100% Macabeu, from vineyards cultivated biodynamically. This cuvée is the fruit of a special vinification – it is a Solera wine matured in a single barrel under a thin veil of flor. As a Solera wine, only a portion of the wine – 10% to be exact – is removed from the barrel each year, which is then replaced by the addition of new wine. This "rancio" is a dry wine with no residual sugar, and is not fortified with spirits. This bottling was corked in November 2020, after 6 years of Solera. Suffice to say, it is a very, very rare bottle indeed.

Laureano Serres
Laureano Serres took over his family vineyard in 1999. The 5 ha estate is situated between Barcelona and Valencia, near the coast. There, Laureano would cultivate his vines according to the principles of biodynamics, and after a few years of traditional vinification, he completely abandoned the use of sulphur.
