Roussillon
A deep red wine, with an intense nose of black fruit, spices, undergrowth, musk. The palate is silky, with a rich body and texture. The finish is long and peppery. It is definitely one of our favorites, vintage after vintage.
This cuvée highlights all the savoir-faire of the Gauby clan, the most renowned estate in the Roussillon, Catalonia and perhaps the entire Mediterranean basin. This blended cuvée of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Carignan is organically grown. Vinification: whole bunches, with no additives, matured for 8 months in concrete vats and old barrels. Neither fined nor filtered.
