Not white or red, rosé or orange... a hybrid! A blend of Macabeu and Carignan from 50- to 70-year-old vines. The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by direct pressing of the two varieties. The juice is poured into 5-hectolitre vats over the marc from Grenache Noir grapes, sitting about eight hours (call it an "infusion"), then is blended with 50 litres of Syrah (out of a total 2500 litres for this cuvée), and finally is matured 8 months in stainless steel vats. Bottled in April 2021, without fining or filtration, and just a microdose of sulphur.
