La Tranchée - 2022 - Laurence Manya Krief
Yoyo
Notes of violet, black cherry, strawberry jam... A wine with a Southern profile, which stands out for its finesse and juicy mouthfeel. Melted tannins, supple texture. Yoyo once again offers us a very elegant cuvée.

100% Grenache Noir, from 30-year-old vines grown organically and planted on a parcel of black shale soils, facing South, horse ploughed. Manual harvest on the 13th of August 2022 and low yields, around 15 hl/ha. Vinification in whole bunches, semi-carbonic maceration for 10 days, 6 months of aging in barrels that have seen several wines. Unfined, unfiltered, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
Laurence Manya-Krief
Laurence Manya-Krief is sincere, upright, and determined... Formerly a sales director in ready-to-wear fashion, at 35 years old she dropped her career for a life of vines. Today, our taste buds are thrilled that she did! She may be petite, but she cultivates some of the most difficult plots in France. Her steep slopes are completely incompatible with mechanised farming, so she depends instead...
