La Vierge Rouge - 2023 - Laurence Manya Krief
Yoyo
A skin-contact wine halfway between rosé and orange wine. A cuvée of considerable finesse, a clear juice of beautiful freshness, with notes of grapefruit, cranberry, flowers and spices, and a lively, fruity finish.

Blend of 90% Grenache Gris, 10% of Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc, from organically grown vines, planted on a parcel of 80-year-old vines on a soil of gneiss and granitic sands. Manual harvest on the 28th of August 2023. Semi-carbonic maceration for 9 days in tanks, soft pressing, short aging in barrels that have seen several wines, for three months. Unfined, unfiltered, just a micro-dose of sulphur (1 gr/hl).
Laurence Manya-Krief
Laurence Manya-Krief is sincere, upright, and determined... Formerly a sales director in ready-to-wear fashion, at 35 years old she dropped her career for a life of vines. Today, our taste buds are thrilled that she did! She may be petite, but she cultivates some of the most difficult plots in France. Her steep slopes are completely incompatible with mechanised farming, so she depends instead...
