A Syrah for the thirsty, all fruit and freshness... Palate: beautiful density, lovely and luscious.
A 100% Syrah cuvée from 30-year-old vines, facing South, on schist soils, in the commune of Rasiguères. The estate is certified organic and all of the harvest is done by hand. Vinification: the grapes are chilled to 4°C, followed by carbonic maceration for about 3 weeks with indigenous yeasts, then maturation in vats and in a 30-hl barrel. Without fining or filtration, just a touch of sulphur at bottling.
Edouard Laffitte jumped into viticulture after several years working at the cooperative of Estézargues in the Gard, where he met Jean-François Nicq of Domaine Les Foulard Rouges, with whom he’d discover natural wine.
