Black fruit, plum, ripe strawberry, hint of spice... Fluid on the palate, a hyper-digestible, fresh primeur, enough to dream of another world (un autre monde in French)!
A blended cuvée of half Cinsault and half Grenache Noir from organic vines planted in the same location, on granitic soils. Harvested by hand on the same day, the two grape varieties are co-macerated for 12 days in whole bunches. This is a carbonic maceration, gentle pressing and very short ageing in vats - it's a primeur wine! Bottled at the end of October 2023 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur (0.7 gram/hectoliter).
Edouard Laffitte jumped into viticulture after several years working at the cooperative of Estézargues in the Gard, where he met Jean-François Nicq of Domaine Les Foulard Rouges, with whom he’d discover natural wine.
