The nose is incredibly powerful, but it's the aromatic complexity that hits first, not the alcohol! Intense sugar cane, followed by ripe fruits like pineapple and banana, and finally, a nearly almond-like evolution on the nose. The palate is powerful, with exotic and warm notes, a soft texture, and a long, indulgent, and warming finish. Dry caramel, a hint of licorice, and honey.

Gilles Victors truly wanted to make rum! Not just age it... After a trip to Jamaica, he designed the plans for his future rum still, a double retort pot still, unique in France. A rum made from organic A-grade molasses from Cuba, with long fermentation of 12 days, using the Jamaican "dunder" technique, for a rum with the most aromatic profile.
Maison Victors is a small organic distillery based in Vacquiers, just outside Toulouse, founded by the one and only Gilles Victors back in 2017. After a wildly eclectic journey, this slightly mad former master knife-maker — known for crafting blades that could fetch tens of thousands of euros — decided to drop everything… all for the love of whisky! Obsessed with his favourite spirit, he started out by attending a few masterclasses, before diving headfirst into the world of pot stills. Gilles trained in Cognac, then headed up to Scotland, where he gained solid experience — notably at Springbank — honing his skills in traditional distillation. During his time in Scotland, he also fell for craft gins, discovering the category during a fateful gin-soaked night out. Back in France, Gilles designed his own stills and built the distillery from scratch, entirely in his image. Maison Victors is artisanal, organic, and deeply ecological — one of the finest distilleries in France. Every detail is considered: these are spirits as works of art. Bold, aromatic, inventive, and local to the bone. Crafted to make you travel… without ever leaving Occitanie.
