Vermouth Rouge en Amphore - Maison Victors

A red vermouth produced from a blend of organic Muscat de Hambourg grapes from the Domaine Plaisance Penavayre, with added sugar and alcohol, then infused with fruits and aromatic plants: blackcurrant and galangal root in particular, although the recipe remains a secret, of course! The whole is aged for over 6 months in amphorae. A ready-to-drink aperitif, in a cocktail or on ice with a twist of orange. Produced in France.

Ingredients: Hamburg Muscat white wine*, wheat alcohol*, mugwort*, oregano*, fresh raspberries*, cinnamon*, peppers*, apricots*, cane sugar*, other aromatic plants*. Contains sulfites. *Ingredients sourced from organic farming. Unfiltered, no added colors or flavors.

Maison Victors is a small organic distillery based in Vacquiers, just outside Toulouse, founded by the one and only Gilles Victors back in 2017. After a wildly eclectic journey, this slightly mad former master knife-maker — known for crafting blades that could fetch tens of thousands of euros — decided to drop everything… all for the love of whisky! Obsessed with his favourite spirit, he started out by attending a few masterclasses, before diving headfirst into the world of pot stills. Gilles trained in Cognac, then headed up to Scotland, where he gained solid experience — notably at Springbank — honing his skills in traditional distillation. During his time in Scotland, he also fell for craft gins, discovering the category during a fateful gin-soaked night out. Back in France, Gilles designed his own stills and built the distillery from scratch, entirely in his image. Maison Victors is a French, artisanal, organic, and deeply ecological — one of the finest distilleries in France. Every detail is considered: these are spirits as works of art.
