A bold bottle — it’s a big, full-bodied juice, yet it carries Yoyo’s signature touch: bursting with fruit and incredibly easy to drink.
A blend of Grenache Noir, Gris, and Blanc, and Carignan from three small century-old vineyards, organically farmed on the heights of the village, with black shale soils. Horse ploughed, hand harvesting on the 22nd and 25th of August, and minimal yields (5hl/ha) – truly heroic viticulture! Vinification in whole bunches, 5 days of carbonic maceration, 6 months of aging in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur (1g/hl) at racking.
Laurence Manya-Krief is sincere, upright, and determined... Formerly a sales director in ready-to-wear fashion, at 35 years old she dropped her career for a life of vines. Today, our taste buds are thrilled that she did! She may be petite, but she cultivates some of the most difficult plots in France.
