Bouffonne - 2019 - Anne Buiatti
Notes of blackcurrant, red plum, soft spices, cocoa. Juicy and velvety on the palate, precise aromatic palette, long finish. The name of the cuvée (Bouffonne is the feminine French for jester), proves that you can have fun in the middle of Bordeaux castles, with pleasurable wines!

Blend: 1/3 Syrah from Calce planted on shales, 1/3 Merlot from Saint Morillon on flints, and 1/3 Cabernet Sauvignon on clays, the vines are between 15 and 30 years old and are all biodynamically grown. Separate vinification of each of the grape varieties: five weeks of maceration in concrete vats, each grape variety is then aged in one clay amphora and one barrel (without new wood), blending, then one month in a truncated wooden cask. Bottled at the Estate without fining or filtration, without adding sulphites.
Anne Buiatti has always known that she wanted to work close to Nature: after a viticultural and oenological training, she spent more than 10 years in Languedoc, before falling in love with an old building in Saint-Morillon, South of Bordeaux, where she founded Maison Advinam in 2019.
