A cuvée in homage to Château des Queyries, which produced the affordable red wine for the people of Bordeaux. Ripe red fruits on the nose, fresh on the palate, smooth texture. Maxime's advice: perfect with pizza or steak served with shallot sauce, the choice is yours!
A blended cuvée made from grapes coming from two different French regions: Bordeaux and Loire Valley. 75% Merlot from Entre-Deux-Mers, grown by Clos de la Molénie in Ruch, and 25% Cabernet Franc from Faye d'Anjou, grown by Domaine du Verger in Bellevigne-en-Layon. All the grapes are certified organic and harvested by hand. Natural winemaking at the Darwin urban winery in Bordeaux: gentle maceration, pressing, 8 months of aging in stainless steel vats. Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.
