Le Paradis d'Arthur - 2020 - Jean François Ginglinger
Domaine Jean Ginglinger
A mineral juice, with notes of flint, citrus, fresh herbs, white-fleshed fruits. Palate: chiseled texture, snapping tension, very tasty, long and pure finish. A complex and complete wine, bravo Arthur!

First vintage for this cuvée vinified by Arthur, the 23-year-old son of Jean-François: 100% Riesling from 60-year-old vines planted on a one-hectare plot in the Grand Cru of Pfinsberg, which shows sandstone soils. Manual harvesting, direct pressing, a year and a half of aging in casks that have seen several wines, on the lees. Bottled without fining, filtration or any addition of sulfites.
Jean-François Ginglinger, a 100% natural vigneron based in Pfaffenheim, south of Colmar, took over his father’s estate in 1999.
