Nose on notes of jammy blackberry and blueberry, vegetal and floral hint. Dense, velvety palate, a very nice volume, slender mouth-feel. Perfect balance between power and finesse.
Blend of 70% Mourvèdre, 28% Grenache and 2% Carignan from organic vines, planted on schist soils and harvested manually on September the 7th, 2019. Vinification: maceration of the whole bunches that were lightly crushed, from September 8th to 30th, 2019. Pressing, blending of the free-run and press juices. 18 months of aging in half-barrels made of acacia wood from Limousin in France. 151 bottles produced, bottled by gravity in December 2021 without any additives or sulphites.
Didier Mouton is a vigneron in the Corrèze region of south-western France. There, since 2001, he has owned a micro-estate, and since 2006, vinifies his own wines.
