La Danse des Corbeaux - 2021 - Jérôme François
La Grange de L'oncle Charles
Madly in love with this complex nose on citrus fruits, pineapple, mango, iodine, hint of smoke... The palate is in perfect harmony with the nose, powerful, long, carried by a mineral frame, a lot of freshness, a real Pur Jus!

Blend of Riesling, Sylvaner, Gewurztraminer, Chasselas and Pinot Gris from vines grown biodynamically and planted on a plot in the middle of the slope, with a marl terroir, in the small town of Riquewihr. Manual harvest. Vinification: direct pressing, co-fermentation of the five grape varieties together, one year of aging on the lees, in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled without fining or filtration, zero added sulphites.

JÉRÔME FRANÇOIS
Jérôme François settled in Ostheim in 2014. The young carpenter couldn’t resist the call of the vine and started his estate with a few plots from his grandfather and the barn of his great uncle! Late 2017, Jérôme teamed up with Yann Bury. The guys work their vines biodynamically, and work the soil not with a tractor but with two horses, Sirus and Fastochex. A flock of black Ouessant sheep...
