100% Riesling from biodynamically farmed vineyards, planted on gravelly, sandy-loam soils over a bed of pebbles. A flat terroir at the entrance to the valley, sheltered from the wind by the surrounding hills. Short pruning of the vines to maintain low yields. The grapes were harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Winemaking: gentle, slow pressing of the whole clusters; transferred to old oak casks for fermentation; aged for 10 months in these same old casks.
