A Beaumes-de-Venise wine that's characteristic of its appellation: powerful, pulpy, racy and long, on notes black fruits, cocoa and spices. A beautiful cuvée crafted for food pairings, great deal of pleasure for the price!
Corinna Faravel
Corinna Faravel, of German origin, has always known that she wanted to work in contact with nature, she told her parents that she would be a gardener "when she’s a grown up”! Very early on, she was aware of food and wines, she began her studies at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, distinguished herself by her great tasting notes, which led her to her first internship in a German Estate. Corinna became the sales manager there, and gradually moved away from her original idea of Nature. So off she went to the Rhône Valley, driven by her desire to better understand red wines. After studying at the of Suze-la-Rousse wine school, she worked at Marcel Richaud’s for a year, we are in the late 90s. It was in 2002 that she bought La Martinelle, which now has 11.5 hectares of vines, certified organic since 2015. A very complicated start, two lost vintages, “which made me even more humble”, recalls Corinna. The tasting amazed us: the juices are the expression of German precision and Corinna’s generosity, all on beautiful terroirs.
