Marie Devigne and Guillaume Hagnier are the proud parents of two little ones and of a few newly planted vines in... Brittany! Grab your raincoats and the salted butter, we’re heading to Sarzeau, a small town between Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Morbihan, that used to produce wine until 1950! 70 years later, it’s back on: after working in Champagne estates, Marie and Guillaume planted 5 hectares of vines in Spring 2020, founding Domaine du Vignoble de Rhuys - Dantelezh (lace in Breton!). Organic farming and hand-harvesting are the name of the game for this dynamic duo. A beautiful estate to watch closely, with upcoming plantings of Pinot Noir, Merlot, Floréal, aging experiments in barrels and amphorae, and of course, a sparkling wine vinified in méthode champenoise! A domain deeply rooted in its Breton heritage and Atlantic terroir, brimming with enthusiasm and passion as they look towards the future with confidence.

Complex nose, very classy, fruity and chalky, indulgent but without any heaviness, perfectly balanced! The palate is sharp and mineral with a long, saline finish. A beautiful cuvée that whets the appetite, making us rediscover Chardonnay in a very airy, pure, and tense light.

Surprising nose carried by notes of red berries and a subtle toasted hint. The palate is fresh and balanced, with cherry and raspberry aromas. Silky texture, long and delicate finish. Pair it with seafood for a little twist!

Ruz means red in Breton, while Reuz means noise or uproar—a playful nod to the Bonnets Rouges, the historic Breton revolt and its red caps. Intensely fruity, fresh herbal edge, fine oak and blackcurrant. Fluid palate, thin tannins and beautifully integrated oak. Open an hour before serving.
