100% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed vines, grown on a parcel in Meursault (Puligny side), as well as from hand-harvested grapes sourced in Mâcon Igé and Ladoix-Serrigny. All fruit is picked manually by Catharina and her team. Natural vinification: direct press, 17 months of aging in barrels for the 2023 and 6 months for the 2024, then blended and bottled in March 2025 after a light filtration and a micro-dose of sulphur.

Catharina Sadde
Catharina Sadde is the woman at the helm of Domaine Les Horées, founded in 2019. Born in Germany, she began her career as a cook, but after experiencing a grape harvest in the Nahe region of West Germany, decided to head down the vineyard path. She pursued a master's degree in viticulture and oenology at the University of Geisenheim. From 2010 to 2018, she took on a succession of internships...
