A splendid sparkling wine for an apéritif, a taut, mineral Chardonnay which whets your appetite, a rich and intense wine with notes of hazelnut and beautiful minerality.
The BBF behind this sparkling Crémant du Jura stands for Blanc de Blancs matured in Fûts, or barrels. A wine certified organic by ECOCERT, made of 100% Chardonnay from a selection of terroirs composed of limestone scree and clay. Grapes are harvested by hand, vinification and maturation in Burgundy barrels (1/3 new oak) for 14 months. Finally, the bottles spend minimum of 48 months in stacks. Disgorged in February 2023, it receives zero dosage, making it an extra-brut.
Stéphane Tissot took over the beautiful family estate from André and Mireille Tissot in 1990, and in over thirty years has accomplished a colossal task to reach the summit of the Jura and become a model far beyond the borders of France.
