Made with Christian Drouin calvados, Vermouth Del Professore Bianco, honey from Tarn-et-Garonne (French department in the South West of the country) and Scrappy’s Orange Bitters, the Orchard Keeper is probably not the best-known cocktail from the Travellers Cocktails range. The one who gives pride to the Norman eau-de-vie (spirits) deserves to be discovered and rediscovered again and again. Really expressive and elegant, it’s an ode to Calvados. An irresistible nose, a palate dominated by the apple, and a long finish: there’s really too many reasons to love the Orchard Keeper, a cocktail that is sure to appeal to connoisseurs.
