A rather translucent wine, with a refined, subtle nose, and notes of pepper and minerals... Palate: remarkable depth, considerable finesse and balance, a long, peppery finish.
100% Sciacarello from vines grown biodynamically and planted on a granitic terroir, facing northwest, on a windswept. The Estate is certified organic since 2002, and biodynamic since 2006. Manual harvest, the yield for this cuvée was around 30 hl/ha. As for vinification: maceration with 30% whole bunches, indigenous yeasts, soft pressing, matured for 24 months in a 34-hl oak cask. Bottled at the Estate without fining nor filtration.
