The fifth vintage for a cuvée which has already generated a great deal of buzz. A nose with floral and iodised notes... Palate: outstanding finesse and refinement. Already an essential wine, not to be missed!
A blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Bianco Gentile, Genovese, and Carcaghjolu Bianco. From a 3-hectare vineyard in Bonifacio, with clay-limestone soils. Vines farmed biodynamically, planted in 2010 with the participation of Patrick Fioramonti. As for vinification: direct pressing, indigenous yeasts, matured 6 months in casks and demi-muid barrels... Neither fined nor filtered.
Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
