Riesling Kabinett Urziger Wurzgarten - 2022 - Weingut Markus Molitor
Weingut Markus Molitor
A luscious dry wine, with just a few grams of residual sugars, a touch lighter in sweetness than its bigger Spätlese sibling, yet still bursting with exotic fruit, honey, and floral notes, wrapped in that subtle petrol hint so typical of this terroir. Broad and generous on the palate — a juice built to age.

100% Riesling from vines cultivated using sustainable methods, planted on the sublime terroir of the Urzig vineyard, a few minutes from Bernkastel, on steep slopes overlooking the banks of the Mosel. Harvesting is done by hand, with meticulous sorting to select only healthy, perfectly ripe berries. Vinification: after light crushing of the grapes and a few hours of maceration, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts, then matured in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration.
