A blend of Vermentino and Rimenese from biodynamically farmed vines planted on clay-granitic soils (“Rena” means sand in Corsican), south-facing, in a hot and windy climate. Manual harvest. Vinification: direct press of whole clusters, then into new demi-muids for fermentation and one year of aging. Bottled at the Domaine under a favorable moon, in line with the biodynamic calendar. No fining, no filtration.

Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
