Cédric Moussé
Cédric Moussé of Champagne Moussé Fils is the heir to twelve generations of winegrowers dating back to 1629, and four generations of Champagne makers since 1923. Today, he leads one of the most forward-thinking domaines in the Marne Valley. Driven by deep curiosity and an unwavering commitment to his land, Cédric pushes the limits of ultra-responsible viticulture with a long-term, sustainable vision. The estate’s philosophy says it all: “We do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children. » In 2014, Cédric put a complete stop to synthetic pesticides. Since 2017, the wines have been made with the least intervention possible. His vineyards span three different villages, all on the same south-facing slope, planted primarily with Pinot Meunier on distinctive green clay soils. Eco-grazing, lunar-cycle planting, spring water usage, natural sulfur only, an eco-designed cellar… Every detail reflects a clear set of intentions — and the results speak for themselves.
