100% Aligoté, from 75-year-old vines in the process of conversion to organic viticulture, facing due west and planted overlooking Bouzeron. This cuvée is produced with grapes purchased from two former Parisians who recently acquired their vines and who farm them very respectfully. Vinification: half of the harvest is pressed directly, while the other half macerates as whole bunches for two weeks before a gentle pressing. Matured 10 months in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled in June 2021, without fining, filtration or added sulphites.

Jonathan Purcell is a young Californian winemaker full of talent. His father introduced him to the pleasures of wine at an early age, by having him taste Burgundies from the ’40s and ’50s.
