100% Pinot Noir vines grown organically and planted on a beautiful parcel, this climat is adjacent to the famed Grand Cru Clos de la Roche. There’s a miniature château here, but more importantly the finest Aligoté vines in the whole Côte-de-Nuits. Anyway, back to our Pinot Noir… harvested by hand, vinified naturally with whole bunches, maceration of 3 to 4 weeks, aging for 12 months in egg-shaped concrete vats. Bottled at the Estate without fining or filtration, without added sulfites.

Frédéric Cossard and his partner Laure founded their estate in 2006, while also beginning to buy grapes from multiple historic appellations: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, and even the Jura.
