Beautiful nose in which you recognize the mastery and elegance of the Truchetets, complexity carried by orchard fruits, white peach, floral hint. The palate is round, voluminous, traceable minerality, long and fruity finish.
A cuvée made of 100% Pinot Blanc from old vines planted in 1986 in the Pré Charron lieu-dit, on clay-limestone soils. Manual harvest with first sorting in the vineyard and second sorting on a table. Direct pressing in a pneumatic press, settling then barreling for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrels, with around 25% new oak. 10 months of aging in these same barrels, without stirring the lees. Blending of the barrels, before bottling at the Estate. 540 bottles produced.
Morgan and Julie Truchetet, brother and sister, took over Domaine Truchetet from their father Jean-Pierre in January of 2019. Together, they represent the fifth generation to lead Domaine Truchetet.
