100% Chardonnay, from almost 60-year-old vines, grown on several terroirs: Clos Reyssié, Clos de M. Noly, Old Plants... The soil is mainly clay-limestone, maintained by ploughing and grassing between the rows. The grapes are handpicked, and the whole harvest is slowly pressed in a pneumatic press, with no added sulphites or yeasts... or anything else for that matter. Matured 12 months on fine lees in barrels that have seen 3 to 5 wines then 2 years in vats. Neither filtered nor fined.
