Grain Pinot "Les Dahrres" - 2024 - Domaine Marie Thérèse Chappaz
Marie-Thérèse Chappaz
A delicate Pinot Noir of great elegance. Ruby-hued, with aromas of black cherry, forest floor, lingonberry, and chanterelle. On the palate: ample, elegant, and subtle, with silky, well-integrated tannins.

100% Pinot Noir from biodynamically farmed vines in Chamoson, planted on the Les Dahrres plot with its limestone and alluvial soils. Back in the day, this parcel was just pasture, but Marie-Thérèse saw its great potential. Hand-harvested and naturally vinified (of course!): full destemming, gentle maceration for around two weeks, then 6 months of ageing in oak barrels that have seen severla wines. Bottled at the domaine with just a micro-dose of sulphur.
