100% Riesling from old vines planted on the Wehlener Sonnenuhr terroir, a steep site covering 45 hectares, of which Markus Molitor is the largest owner. South/southwest exposure, with light, stony soils with Devonian slate. Late manual harvest in October, the grapes were perfectly healthy, with low yields. Vinification: light crushing, a few hours of maceration on the berry skins, indigenous yeasts, long aging on the lees in stainless steel vats. The gold capsule indicates that this is a sweet wine.
