Bajan is the language spoken on the island of Barbados in the Caribbean: so get ready for a real journey with this gin, infused with tropical flavors. On the nose: citrus, lemon, and orange zest, with herbaceous notes of juniper and anise, enhanced by the fruitiness of grapefruit (which originated on the island in the 18th century) and hibiscus—lots of zing! On the palate: lovely acidity, subtle bitterness—the overall effect is very refreshing. Perfect with tonic or in a cocktail!

A gin conceived and created under the guidance of Maison Ferrand in France, and produced in Barbados (!) at a small distillery by the sea. It is made by macerating 23 aromatic botanicals, such as juniper berries, iris roots, almond, fennel, star anise, lemon and orange peel, cardamom, violet, and Sichuan pepper… but also, and most importantly, grapefruit and hibiscus. Alexandre Gabriel, the master distiller, developed and patented a gradual infusion process that allows each botanical in the gin to be infused according to its aromatic profile. A unique dry gin, bottled with no added sugar.
Citadelle is a Gin produced in the South-West of France since 1996 for Maison Ferrand, precisely at Château de Bonbonnet. With its experience in the world of distillation, Maison Ferrand is also committed to bottling French and local terroir. Indeed, the juniper berries that make up the aromatic framework come from some 9 hectares of junipers planted in front of the Château, i.e. some 2,500 trees! The Citadelle Gin has therefore celebrated its 25th anniversary, and is now widely recognized and rewarded, since it has received more than 60 medals, including "Spirit of the Year" prize by the World Spirits Award in 2017.
