Powerful nose of yellow fruits, honey, almond, white flowers, vanilla, smoky hint… Opulent, fat, smooth palate, echoing the nose’s power, long finish on aromas of exotic fruits. Give it a few years, decanting recommended.
100% Grenache Blanc from vines planted around Sarrians, on clay-limestone and sandy soils with rolled pebbles. Although not certified organic, the vines are farmed without any chemical products, using only inputs that can be “drunk or breathed.” The grapes were harvested by hand with low yields. Vinification: direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation, and long ageing in old casks.
