Emmanuel Reynaud

Hard to believe that this is only the gateway to understanding the Reynaud style… Stunning freshness, with notes of sour cherry, pepper, rose and blood orange, a hint of kirsch. Silky palate, all softness and length — it almost drinks like Pinot Noir!

Blend of the estate’s grape varieties: Grenache, Merlot, Cinsault, Syrah and Counoise… with the exact proportions kept secret! From old vines planted around Sarrians, on clay-limestone and sandy soils with rolled pebbles. Although not certified organic, the vines are farmed without any chemical products, only using inputs that can be “drunk or breathed.” Manual harvesting and low yields. Vinification follows a natural approach: spontaneous fermentation, gentle extraction, and long ageing in old casks.
