A deep red wine, with an intense nose of black fruit, spices, undergrowth, musk. The palate is silky, with a rich body and texture. The finish is long and peppery. It is definitely one of our favorites, vintage after vintage.

This cuvée highlights all the savoir-faire of the Gauby clan, the most renowned estate in the Roussillon, Catalonia and perhaps the entire Mediterranean basin. A blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Carignan, from vineyards grown organically using biodynamic practices. The grapes were harvested by hand and vinified and naturally: whole-cluster maceration, gentle pressing, and 8 months of aging in concrete tanks and old oak casks. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, with a low dose of sulfur.
