Tierra - Tempera

We truly loved this one during our tasting, a light red cuvée, with a bold nose of peppers and flowers. A generous, "earthy" juice as the cuvée's name suggests. It shows an assertive, vinous structure that perfectly supports the complexity of the aromatics, yet highly drinkable!

Tempera is born of the complicity of Mauro Colagreco, the three-star Michelin Chef of the Mirazur restaurant in Menton, and Arielle Bove, an inspiring personality, among other things a tea expert and flavour scout, who threw herself headlong into this adventure in 2022.
The Chef was offering exceptional non-alcoholic pairings during his tasting menu, produced on a very small scale, and meeting Arielle would give them both the ambition to offer these exceptional blends to more tasters, outside the restaurant, by building a range of six unique aromatic profiles. These are not dealcoholized wines then, but gastronomic drinks produced by infusion or fermentation of ultra-qualitative aromatic plants, flowers, fruits and spices, always with very gentle extractions for results of great finesse.

With Tempera, the pleasure of tasting is definitively there, and what a pleasure to find in your glass delicious juices when we can't or don't want to drink alcohol. Different tasting moments, that don't replace wine but complement it, for tasty moments that will (for example!) spice up your weekday lunches.
