Malbec from 45-year-old vines, farmed organically and biodynamically certified, planted on the three finest plots of the Domaine, on the plateau at 300 meters altitude: siliceous red clay, Kimmeridgian limestone, and siderolithic limestone. Hand-harvested with yields of 30 hl/ha. Natural vinification: fully destemmed, fermentation in open vats, 25 days of maceration at 28°C with one punch-down at the start and light daily pump-overs. 24 months of ageing in 35 hl foudres, with no new oak. Micro-dose of sulphur.
