Silice - 2022 - Château Les Croisille
Germain, Nicolas & Simon Croisille

100% Malbec from 35-year-old vines farmed organically and biodynamically, certified. The parcels are located on the Luzech plateau at 250–300 metres altitude on siliceous and iron-rich red clay soils (siderolithic terroir). Hand-harvested, yields around 40 hl/ha. Natural vinification: total destemming, two weeks of infusion-style maceration — so without forcing extraction — pressing, 12 months of ageing in cement vats. Bottled at the Domaine with no added sulfites.
