Rare wine of remarkable complexity, on notes of candied strawberry, cherry, blood orange and bay leaf. The palate is dense and fully in line with the nose, harmonious and lifted by hints of baking spices and strawberry tart. Broad structure with fine tannins and excellent aging potential.

Pinot Noir, a blend of the best vineyard parcels of the vintage and several barrel lots. Isabelle is the daughter of Jim Clendenen, born in 1995, and since then each vintage has been a unique blend. To craft it, Jim would taste the finest barrel lots over several days, then revisit them months later to reassess and find the perfect balance. The 2021 cuvée is sourced from the vineyards of Bien Nacido, Rancho La Cuna, Los Alamos, Sanford & Benedict, and Lala Panzi. Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels from François Frères cooperage.
All of the wines produced by Au Bon Climat sold on our website are imported into France by Vins du Monde.
