The ideal companion for late nights and desserts. This Macvin – the name for Jura’s famous sweet vin de liqueur – is ultra fruity, addictive and luscious, with notes of spice and liquorice. A wine full of substance and intensity.
A sweet vin de liqueur wine made from 30-year-old Pinot Noir vines farmed biodynamically and planted on two terroirs, half on Bajocian Age limestone and the other half on Lias clay. The grapes are handpicked at maximum ripeness. Vinification: the grapes are destemmed by hand, followed by 10 days of maceration, before adding the marc from the estate’s grapes. Matured for one year before bottling.
Stéphane Tissot took over the beautiful family estate from André and Mireille Tissot in 1990, and in over thirty years has accomplished a colossal task to reach the summit of the Jura and become a model far beyond the borders of France.
