A blend of 70% Grenache Gris and 30% Macabeu from century-old vines planted at 400 meters altitude on schist soils, surrounded by garrigue. The estate is certified organic and uses biodynamic farming techniques. Vinification: direct pressing in a vertical, traditional press, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, fermented and matured for 10 months in 2100-litre demi-muid barrels. Unfiltered, unfined, bottled without the addition of sulfites.

In France, he was one of the finest students of Gérard Gauby , thanks to whom he met Nathalie, Gérard’s sister, with whom he settled in 2001 in Calce, in a still unspoilt environment, where they founded the Domaine Matassa.
