80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, from old vines of 70 to 80 years co-planted with young vines, which have never been exposed to any chemicals, planted on a 60 ares parcel surrounded by forests, on calcareous-clay soil. We are at 130 meters from Mouton-Rotschild! Separate vinification of the two grape varieties, in whole bunches, more than a year of aging in 500-liter casks and a bit of stainless-steel vats. Bottling of the 2500 bottles on the 22nd of December 2022 without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

Osamu Uchida
Osamu Uchida, born of the 1977 vintage, grew up in Hiroshima but was educated in French culture from a very young age – his parents were wine merchants! He was barely in his twenties when he decided to head off to the land of Molière to immerse himself in French language… and wine! By the end of his first stay, it was the welcome he’d received from the many vignerons he visited that convinced...
