A blended cuvée of of Gamay and Petite Sérine from biodynamically-grown vines planted on plots classified in the Beaujolais Villages appellation, right next to Fleurie, on silty sand soils over a pink granitic bedrock. Harvesting was done by hand, the grapes are moved by gravity, natural vinification, but not traditional from the Beaujolais region, since it begins with a total destemming. 20 days of maceration, gentle pressing, 16 months of aging in concrete vats. Bottled without fining or filtration, low sulfur.

Alexandra de Vazeilles is the director of Château des Bachelards, a lively winemaker from the Beaujolais scenery.
