A few words from the Estate: "superb nose of English rose and violet; ripe, spicy palate with refreshing herbaceous notes and suave pepper. Beautiful, well-integrated delicate oak without roughness, a soft, velvety texture."
Blend of Aleatico, Niellucio, Sciaccarello, Minustellu, Morescola, Carcaghjolu Neru, Moresconu and Vermentino, from biodynamically-managed vines planted on sandstone soils. Harvesting is done by hand. 70% of the grapes were destemmed, then went through a 30-day maceration with daily manual punching of the cap. Aged for 10 months in old casks, 10 months in amphorae and 4 to 6 months in bottles at the estate's cellar, after a bottling without fining or filtration.
