Bianco - 2021 - Gabrio Bini
Serragghia
A complex nose of apricot, honey, coriander, and orange blossom. Palate: a dry, crisp, mineral wine, with a saline finish. Sure it’s cloudy, and there's some volatile acidity, but what a wine! Evolves with every sip – it’s a voyage in a glass!

100% Zibibbo, the local name for Muscat d'Alexandrie, from 75-year-old vines farmed biodynamically on Pantelleria, a small volcanic island located between Tunisia and Sicily. Vinification: the grapes are 100% destemmed, followed by maceration in amphorae buried to their necks, with indigenous yeasts and zero additives, pressing after 1 month of maceration, and 1 year of maturation in amphorae. This is pure unfiltered juice, unfined, without added sulfur. 1500 bottles produced, this is a rare, exceptional cuvée.

Gabrio Bini
Gabrio Bini, 70 years young, lives and works on Pantelleria, a tiny volcanic island in the strait of Sicily, halfway between Sicily and Tunisia. The neighbour of Bond-girl-turned-winemaker Carole Bouquet, Bini has had several lives as well: architect in Milan, right-hand to a (very) big name in haute couture, before becoming consumed with a passion for this island – and for natural wines....
